Fitz-Henley hails 60 per cent decline in murders since 2017
Jamaica’s crime reduction is being hailed by the country’s police chief Fitz-Henley, who attributes the decrease to concerted efforts between the police, judiciary and community.
The murder rate in Jamaica has plummeted to 60 per cent since 2017, with 20 fewer murders reported so far this year compared to the same time last year.
