Ghanaian dancehall musician Stonebwoy has revisited his long-standing disagreement with rapper Sarkodie, claiming that the “Highest” hitmaker reported him to the police following a confrontation at the 2020 Black Love Concert. Stonebwoy made the revelation during a TikTok Live session on September 8, 2026, while recounting what allegedly happened backstage at the event held at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The incident allegedly occurred after Stonebwoy and Sarkodie got into an argument over a misunderstanding, and Sarkodie subsequently called the police, sparking tensions between the two artists. Stonebwoy has expressed frustration with the situation, stating that he believes the incident was overblown and that the police response was unfair.
The revelation comes as the two musicians have been involved in a heated rivalry for years, with each accusing the other of cultural appropriation and disrespect. This latest development has sparked a new wave of tension between the two camps, with fans and fellow artists weighing in on social media.
